Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Verlimor collects when you visit this website and how it is handled. The site is a static editorial publication and is designed to collect as little as possible.

Information collected

Verlimor does not require you to create an account and does not knowingly collect personal information as you browse. The contact form on the home page asks for a name, email address, and phone number. This form runs entirely in your browser as a demonstration: the details you type are not transmitted to a server and are cleared after you submit.

Cookies and local storage

The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies without your consent. A cookie notice appears on the home page on your first visit. When you choose Accept or Reject, that single preference is saved in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Third-party content

Photographs on this site are loaded from Wikimedia Commons. When an image loads, your browser contacts that service directly, and its own privacy practices apply to that request. Outbound links to reference sites are likewise governed by those sites' policies.

Data retention

Because no form data is sent to or stored on a server, there is no personal data for Verlimor to retain. The only stored item is the cookie-consent preference held locally in your own browser.

Your choices

You can decline cookies through the notice, clear stored data through your browser, and avoid submitting the contact form. None of these choices limits your ability to read the published notes.
